Sources |
NetBeans is
providing a tarball which contains English files as l10n-kit.
NetBeans 5.0 l10n-kit can be downloaded from
When you want to use the entire
IDE sources because you want to build the IDE on your own, you can
download the 5.0
sources from here:

If you use OmegaT for
translation, you can download zip files of the OmegaT project folder
with the
English sources. It's the easiest way for you to start translating!!
Download the zip file, extract it, open the folder in OmegaT. See How
to translate Netbeans IDE using OmegaT doc in the section below for
detailed steps.
If you don't use OmegaT, here are the zip files of the English
sources:
You can download and extract them onto your local disk and start
translating in your own way.

Verify
Translated files |
If you can build the NetBeans
IDE,
try to check the following documents and verify your translated files
are OK on NetBeans.

Please verify your translated
files are Unicode ASCII encoded. If you use OmegaT, this will be
done automatically when the target file is generated.
If you don't know about the encoding, we can help!! Please send your
files to our team alias - dev@translatedfiles.netbeans.org,
someone can help. |

Commit
your files to cvs
|
Copy your translated files into
the src/ directory and commit them. Please use the
appropriate branch for
check-in. For example for NetBeans 5.0, we should use the "release50"
branch.
- You can send a notification to
cvs@translatedfiles.netbeans.org, check mail
archive.
- You can verify your committed files on the web
|
Please send your files in zip
format to team alias - dev@translatedfiles.netbeans.org,
someone can help and check them in for you.

Try daily
build |
Daily
builds are being built every Monday and Thursday. These will be
published to NetBeans.org
download page. Please notes the build will contain the changes that
have been committed before 20:00 of the previous day.
