NetBeans 5.5.1
NetBeans 5.5.1 is the updated version of NetBeans 5.5.
So the message updates are small. Once you localize NetBeans 5.5,
please try 5.5.1 too!! We provide possible information here.
Before you start
Before you start, please look into some documents to understand how to
localize NetBeans IDE.

How to localize updates
1. Please make sure you already translated NetBeans 5.5 IDE
We provide only updated files in
l10n-kit. So you need to localize NetBeans 5.5 first.
If you haven't localized 5.5 and you
want to localize 5.5.1 files from scratch, please goto step
7.
2. Copy NetBeans 5.5 localized files to NetBeans 5.5.1 branch
Please copy your files e.g.
Bundle_ja.properties to release551 branch. If you don't have cvs
access, please ask dev@translatedfiles.netbeans.org.
3. Pick up l10n-kit from
l10n-kit are ready for both simple and
OmegaT project format. Please note that this l10n-kit contains only
updated files.

Please send the information you start
the localization.
4. Localize them
You can use own your editor or some
translate-assist tool like OmegaT. Please refer these docs to know how
to translate.
5. Integrate
If you have cvs acces to
translatedfiles/src, please integrate them into cvs directly. If don't,
please send zip file to dev@translatedfiles.netbeans.org.
6. Verify
Daily build is being prepared. Download
it from the following URL with selection 5.5.1 and Daily.
7. Fix translations in entire IDE
When you find the translations localized already and you want to fix
them, also if you localize 5.5.1 from scrach, please pick up the entire
l10n-kit from below. There are 3 types of l10n-kit, you can pick up one
for your need.
Include all English files of 5.5.1
OmegaT projects, split into two -
minimum (NetBeans Platform) and others (other files)
OmegaT projects, split into each module
e.g. core, ide, j2ee and etc.
Integration information e.g. cvs branch
Please use "release551"
branch.
All localized files should be under translatedfiles/src/.
